At deeplify we develop AIpowered software that analyzes data from nondestructive testing methods like Xrays ultrasound and 3D imaging to automatically detect defects and automate the whole inspection process. Our solution supports industrial inspectors by streamlining the defect identification process reducing manual work and lowering costs across industries such as aerospace energy automotive and more.

Tasks

As a Data Science Working Student at deeplify youll help shape the future of AI in NDT by building core features and modern architecture for our product. Youll work across the entire stack contributing to backend and the MLOps pipeline.

MLOps:

• Design develop and maintain our whole MLOps pipeline including data processing model training and evaluation CI/CD and monitoring Retraining/Continuous Learning
• Implement solutions for onpremise or oncloud AI deployment and continuous learning systems.

Backend:

• Maintain and enhance our database by adding new columns and tables as needed. Expand and improve our backend by implementing new routes features and functionalities.

Data Science:

• Take part in research and customer projects to integrate AI solutions into the inspection workflowBuild multimodal models to process inspection data from multiple sensors together with textual input.

Requirements

You must be enrolled in a university

What You Need to Succeed:

• Skills & Experience:
• You are currently enrolled in a Bachelors or Masters degree program. We welcome applicants from various academic backgrounds most important is that you are a very talented data scientist with handson experience in computer science and software development
• A solid theoretical background in machine learning
• Familiarity with machine learning workflows and working with AI models especially Computer Vision models in production. Experience with ML frameworks preferably PyTorch.
• Experience in agile teams and collaboration in coding
• Adept at reviewing stateoftheart research distilling key insights and transforming them into workflows and practical solutions.
• Big Plus: Experience in ML Ops
• You are fluent in English

Nice to have Skills:

• Knowledge of cloud solutions using AWS
• Experience with LLMs
• Experience with Multimodal AI
