Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients in the US and Canadian construction industry.
Strategic planning including market research and sales forecasts by services
Work closely with the team to meet monthly and yearly sales targets and to achieve overall company objectives.
Promote negotiate. services including steel detailing preconstruction design detailing precast concrete detailing engineering and connection design as well as project renderings and animations.
Conduct regular in person client visits to existing customers for relationship management.
Visit potential clients in person and deliver sales presentations to secure new business.
Follow up with ongoing and past project bids and convert to closed sales
Qualifications:
10 years of experience in sales (constructions sales preferable)
Ability to prepare and deliver project bids and proposals to clients
Solid understanding of the structural steel industry (steel detailing experience is a significant asset).
Basic knowledge of engineering platforms Adobe & Bluebeam
Ability to read and understand structural design drawings is a strong asset.
Excellent communication and relationshipbuilding skills.
University degree or college diploma (marketing or construction/engineering designations an asset)
Wellorganized with strong timemanagement abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong typing skills.
Experience with Salesforce or CRM platforms is an asset.
