Job Description
- Position: Sr. Developer Mobility Android
- Location: Atlanta GA 30354 (Hybrid)local only
- Duration: 12 Months
- Rate: $ 65/hr on C2C
- Client: Confidential
- W2/C2C: C2C
Must Have:
- 6 years of experience developing largescale mobile applications using Xamarin Java and Kotlin
- Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles patterns and best practices
- Experience in Modern Android Architecture and User Interface (Android Architecture Components Navigation Paging Material Design etc.
- Familiarity with Jetpack Compose
- Experience with thirdparty libraries like Retrofit Hilt Dagger Glide
- Experience with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to backend services
- Experience with Firebase Framework for Android
- Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
- Experience with offline storage threading and performance tuning
- Experience with performance and memory tuning tools
- Strong skills in benchmarking and optimization
- Proficiency in Git for version control
- Familiarity with continuous integration
- Experience in TestDriven Development (TDD)
Roles And Responsibilities:
- Design and develop advanced applications for the Android platform
- Ensure the performance quality and responsiveness of applications
- Collaborate with a team to define design and ship new features
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
- Help maintain code quality organization and automatization
- Continuously discover evaluate and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
- Support other team members where required including troubleshooting and maintenance of production systems/programs/applications
- Oncall support rotation function may be required.
Highly Desired Skills:
- Bachelors/masters degree in computer science Information Systems or a related field
- 8 years of relevant technical experience
- Working knowledge of AWS
- DevOps and/or automation experience in code testing building and deployment
- Experience in the airline industry software development.
