As a ServiceNow Developer you will perform configuration development support and maintenance working with external and internal stakeholders to understand propose and deliver digital transformation solutions through ServiceNow Catalogs.The ideal candidate will possess a indepth experience of IT Service Management (ITSM) and understanding of Customer Service Management (CSM) IT Operations Management (ITOM) and related ServiceNow modules possess handson expertise with ServiceNow projects from inception through completion and have experience supporting government clients within HHS CMS DOD and other federal agencies.

Primary Responsibilities
- Support the standup configuration and implementation of ServiceNows ITSM
- Work with ServiceNow architect and other developers regarding ITOM CSM and other modules as required.
- Create and maintain Forms Reports Views Workflows Groups and Roles.
- Create maintain and enhance Dashboards and reporting including scheduled reports.
- Create and configure tool integrations with ServiceNow (Elastic Netcool Kafka etc..
- Coordinate and support application and platform upgrades.
- Assist with the design creation and cataloging of business process flows.
- Work with other members of the ServiceNow development team to propose solutions based on business needs and strategies.
- Perform the necessary tasks to design and configure ServiceNow functions to meet operational needs.
- Support business process reengineering activities to move ticketing and order management capabilities into ServiceNow.
- Interact with the customer to address Systems Engineering technical considerations and associated problems issues or conflicts.
- Developing configuring and customizing the ServiceNow platform to fit business requirements.
- Develop custom applications enhancements and integrations using JavaScript AngularJS and ServiceNow APIs to ensure tailored solutions that meet clientspecific needs.
- Conduct system troubleshooting testing and performance tuning to ensure the highest availability and functionality.
- Orchestrate and automate tasks.
- Responsible for the design and build of ServiceNow Applications and integration to other applications and platforms including architecture languages best practices and methodologies in an Agile Scrum environment.
- Provide strong development and project ontrack and ontask and collaborate on an ongoing project in both new and enhancements development between engineers developers analysts and other team members.
- Follow maintain and apply documentation best practice policies procedures and processes throughout ServiceNow development
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to gather input to support ongoing business needs for ServiceNow configuration implementation and support.
- Review and apply any additional UI/UX requirements from external and internal teams and align into ServiceNow development
- Utilizes available programming methodologies and languages and adheres to coding standards procedures and techniques while contributing to the technical code documentation.
- Support data migration as needed.
- Design and implement solutions following established Configuration Management policies and standards.
- Integrate data from multiple data sources into a unified CMDB ensuring data quality and integrity are maintained.
- Perform upgrades patching and other maintenance activities as necessary.
- Desire to further grow and enhance skillsets from more senior developers throughout each project.
- Must want to grow knowledge of ServiceNow platform and capabilities by continuing to obtain ServiceNow certifications.
Certifications Must hold the following certifications):
- ServiceNow Certification Requirements:
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
- ServiceNow Certified ITSM Implementer
- 2 ServiceNow MicroCertification
- CIS CSM (Preferred)
- CIS ITOM (Preferred)
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in a technical field such as System Engineering Computer Science Information Systems Engineering Science Engineering Management or related discipline or equivalent experience/combined education with 48 years of professional experience; or 26 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Additional experience may be accepted in place of a degree.
- At least three 3 years of experience designing developing and supporting technology infrastructure.
- At least three 3 years of ServiceNow development.
- Experience with ServiceNow upgrades.
- Expertise across advanced ServiceNow ITSM applications and understanding of other applications such as CSM and ITOM.
- Strong command of JavaScript HTML/CSS and Glide scripting for ServiceNow development and customization.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and project management practices.
- The qualified candidate shall have excellent customer service skills and the ability to work independently prioritize schedule and complete multiple tasks.
- Ability to multitask and selfassign work in a fastpaced environment.
- Strong communication skills that enable proactive and effective collaboration with a virtual team including clearly articulating status and presenting to both customers and program leadership. Candidateshall have the ability to develop and present managementlevel briefings.
- Demonstrate potential and willingness to learn and adapt to rapid technological changes.
- Open to receiving mentoring from senior developers and subject matter experts.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with JIRA Git and Confluence.
- Understanding of ITIL foundation or ITIL certified.
- AWS cloud certifications.
- Experience working with large software systems including hardware integration and testing.
- Experience working with multidisciplinary technical development teams.
- Experience moving from a legacy application to a new application
- Experience applying test automation testdriven development continuous integration and continuous deployment to achieve builtin quality by the team.
- Experience using Kanban to improve flow on support teams.
- Experience with DevOps/DevSecOps and CI/CD implementation.
Salary Information
The salary range for the ServiceNow Developerposition is competitive and commensurate with experience between$121000 to $150000 annually. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance retirement plans and professional development opportunities.
