Job Description

We are always looking for talented selfmotivated individuals to join our team atMcDonald CDJR. Currently we are seeking an enthusiastic selfstarter to fill the role ofAutomotive Technician. A qualified individual will play a key role in ensuring our customers vehicles are in top shape by diagnosing and repairing vehicles.

Responsibilities

As an Automotive Master Technician you will:

  • Diagnose repair and maintain a wide range of vehicles with advanced systems.
  • Perform repairs on engines transmissions brakes HVAC systems electrical systems and more.
  • Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify mechanical and safety issues.
  • Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and technologies to pinpoint and resolve problems efficiently.
  • Communicate clearly with service advisors about vehicle issues and recommended repairs.
  • Mentor and support junior technicians sharing your expertise and knowledge.
  • Ensure all work is completed to industry standards and customer expectations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace adhering to all safety protocols.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you should have:

  • Certification as an ASE Master Technician (or equivalent).
  • Extensive knowledge of advanced vehicle systems and diagnostics.
  • Minimum of 2years of handson experience in an automotive repair shop or dealership.
  • Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Proficiency with diagnostic tools software and repair manuals.
  • A valid drivers license and a clean driving record.
  • The ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various physical conditions.
