About the Role
- Full time permanent
- Flexible 2025 start date (January/February)
- Be responsible for fulfilling on the firms steady intake of insurance law (motor vehicle work)
Skills & Experience
- Admitted in Queensland or another state in Australia
- Experienced in insurance law is preferred
- Court experience
- The ability to communicate effectively to a range of stakeholders
- Drafting and settling claims
- Ability to appear and advocate for clients at settlement conferences
- Provide advice on prospects of success with matters
- Ability to work closely with a corporate client
- Be able to work with high volume of magistrates ct claims
- Be able to brief counsel and lead matters to trial
- Make application for summary judgment and opposing of same
- Sound understanding and use of the UCPR
