DESCRIPTION OF POSITION:
The Pallet Coordinator is a highly versatile position within the McCormick High Performance System MHPS) environment. The Pallet Coordinator holds responsibilities within several areas of Distribution such as warehouse operations pallet program management shipping operations. This position proactively encourages continuous improvement and daily problem solving initiatives to increase effectiveness and efficiencies and reduce cost. The successful candidate must be able to work effectively as an individual as well as part of a team with an emphasis on safety quality and high performance while following the McCormick Shared Values. - Primary Responsibleity for the pallet program management including:
- ordering daily requirements/pallet inventory optimization
- completing daily pallet usage data entry
- coordinating and completing audits (weekly Monthly Quartely Yearly)
- optimizing the overall pallet program
- Secondary Responsibleity Provide daily coverage in the Billing office including:
- printing and organizing shipment paperwork
- coordinating/completing carrier/courier pickups
- filing shipping documentation
- updating SAP
- Assist with the ordering/management of cafeteria supplies
- Provide backup support in the Shipping Office including:
- Building shipments within SAP
- printing and organizing Transfer Orders
- communicating with various departments
- other administrative tasks
- Various tasks as required

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: |
- OSSD diploma or equivalent and successful passing of basic qualification testing
- Additional education such as Supply Chain or APICS courses considered an asset
- Knowledge and experience within Shipping Receiving Warehouse and Transportation operations.
- High degree of knowledge and experience with SAP Internet Explorer Microsoft Office (exceptional with excel) and Outlook.
- Demonstrated analytical/critical thinking skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills
- Willingness to grow through continuous education and training
- Ability and willingness to work overtime (pre or post shift alternate shifts and weekends).
