Job Description

RecruitNet International is hiring a Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM) : Infection Prevention & Control (IPC) based in Co Dublin Ireland.
Permanent/Fulltime
Responsibilities
- Act as a team member including as needed by the Multidisciplinary Care Team the Risk Management Team the Incident Management Team the Infection Control Team and the Registered Provider/Director of Nursing to assist them with the daytoday administration of the home.
- Make an effort to read widely in order to stay up to date on the latest developments.
- Maintain resident privacy throughout the establishment. Except in a professional capacity and in the residents best interest and with the express consent of the registered provider or director of nursing resident information may not be communicated outside the home.
- Encourage team members by reaching consensus on goals and objectives and conducting performance reviews.
- Be in charge of overseeing the care personnel and handling human resource issues in an effective manner.
- Assist the Multidisciplinary Care Team the Risk Management Team the Incident Management Team the Infection Control Team and the Registered Provider/Director of Nursing with the daily management of the home by acting as a team member as needed.
- Preserve the privacy of the residents at all times. Information on a resident may not be shared outside the home unless it is necessary for the residents professional wellbeing in their best interest and with the specific permission of the director of nursing or certified provider.
- Encourage team members by holding performance reviews and coming to an agreement on goals and objectives.
- Be in charge of effectively managing human resources and supervising the care staff.
Requirements
- Qualifications for Nursing
- Continuous membership with the Irish Nursing and Midwifery Board Postgraduate degree
- Gerontology Prior experience providing care for the elderly
