About the Role
Key Responsibilities
Data Pipeline Development & Maintenance
Assist in designing developing and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines for structured and unstructured data.
Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction transformation and analysis.
Develop and maintain data ingestion workflows from multiple sources into data warehouses and lakes.
Ensure data quality integrity and consistency across systems.
Big Data & Cloud Technologies
Work with cloudbased data platforms for data storage and processing.
Learn and apply big data technologies like Apache Spark Kafka.
Assist in optimizing database performance and query efficiency.
Collaboration & Learning
Work closely with data analysts scientists and senior engineers to support business intelligence and reporting needs.
Document processes best practices and improvements for data workflows.
Stay up to date with emerging data engineering trends and tools.
Requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications
2 to 3 years of experience in data engineering analytics or software development.
Proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation.
Basic knowledge of Python for scripting and data processing.
Familiarity with ETL/ELT pipelines and relational databases (PostgreSQL MySQL Redshift Snowflake etc..
Understanding of cloud computing platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and big data tools is a plus.
Strong problemsolving and analytical skills.
Willingness to learn new technologies and improve technical skills.
Nice to Have
Exposure to Apache Spark Kafka or Airflow.
Basic knowledge of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.
Experience with Git and version control for collaborative development.
