Job Description
AECOM is seeking an Engineering Intern to be based in Pittsburgh PA.
Internships at AECOM offer students in undergraduate and graduate programs the opportunity to gain valuable handson experience in engineering design and infrastructure projects that make a realworld impact. This position is expected to begin in Fall 2025.
The responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:
- Provide support to the roadway structures and traffic engineering groups on highway design projects.
- The intern will work under the direction of engineers to support design staff on engineering calculations quantity calculations cost estimates construction plans and supporting materials
- Ability to work effectively in a teambased collaborative environment
Qualifications :
Minimum Requirements:
- Candidates must be pursuing a Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering and must have completed at least 1 of years of study. Candidates who have graduated with a Bachelors degree and plan to continue with the Masters degree are eligible to apply for these positions. Graduates must have been enrolled in their bachelors degree in the most previous school term with an interest in pursuing an advanced degree in the same or similar discipline at the conclusion of the internship
Preferred Qualifications:
- Capable of creating spreadsheets using Excel MS Word and standard ofce software
- Basic knowledge of industry standard computer software for the position (examples include software such as MicroStation InRoads and OpenRoads)
- Good communication organizational and analytical skills
