Job Description
Position: Senior DevOps Engineer
Location: ERIE PA (OnSite)
Responsibilities:
- 8 years experience as a DevOps Engineer Systems Engineer or similar position
- Bachelors degree required preferably in Computer Science MIS or equivalent
- Expertise in Linux and UNIX systems administration (Ubuntu CentOS Oracle Linux etc.
- Strong understanding of networking protocols such as TCP/IP routing/switching VLAN VPN SSL SSH packet inspection
- Experience in maintaining and securing SSL certificates
- Knowledgeable in cloud server application and networking security best practices
- Proven experience working with AWS products such as EC2 RDS ELB VPC IAM S3 SQS etc.
- Experience working w/ web servers such as Apache Nginx and Tomcat
- Working knowledge of database administration routines (MySQL MS SQL Oracle etc) including migrations exports and recoveries.Exposure to scripting languages (bash PHP Python etc. used in process automation
- Proven experience with CI/CD infrastructure automation tools such as Jenkins Packer Ansible and Terraform
- Experience in enforcing Infrastructure as Code methodology
- Experience with configuring and deploying monitoring and logging tools such as ELK Pingdom PagerDuty CRON messages log traces etc.
- Experience supporing local virtualized environments and host OSs (MacOS Windows VirtualBox Vagrant)
- Experience w/ Docker and containerization is preferred
- AWS certified candidates are preferred
