Job Description
- Manages and maintains accurate financial records including accounts payable accounts receivable and general ledger entries.
- Prepares financial reports budgets and forecasts to support school management in decisionmaking.
- Processes payroll ensures timely payment of salaries and handles statutory deductions such as taxes and pensions.
- Monitors tuition fee collections tracks outstanding balances and follows up on overdue payments.
- Reconciles bank statements and financial transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Ensures compliance with financial regulations school policies and external audit requirements.
- Prepares and submits tax returns statutory filings and other financial reports as required.
- Coordinates with external auditors during audits and provides necessary documentation.
- Assists in developing financial strategies to optimize resource allocation and cost management.
- Maintains an organized filing system for financial documents invoices and receipts.
- Supports procurement processes by verifying supplier invoices and processing payments.
- Provides financial guidance to school administrators on budgeting and financial planning.
