AECOM is seeking an experienced TransitRail Senior Project Manager to join our Los Angeles Office.
JOB SUMMARY:
Qualified applicants will be able to demonstrate an established career in the transportation industry and have a successful track record with the delivery of transportation infrastructure programs including alternative delivery projects (DB PDB or CMGC). This is an exceptional opportunity to be involved with mega capital infrastructure projects for our clients. The applicant will have demonstrated experience in leading major pursuits and the delivery of major programs. The objective of the position is to lead pursue develop and execute major projects required to deliver client programs within established and agreed budgets and schedules thereby expanding AECOMs reputation as the preferred transportation consultant in the industry.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead development and of significant transitrail projects including light rail heavy rail subway commuter rail highspeed rail bus rapid transit aerial or underground project pursuits and delivery.
Establish relationships with LA Metro and other local agencies in the City of LA.
Be a visible leader and trusted advisor to clients by promoting AECOMs values both internally and externally.
Demonstrated expertise in the area of managing and preparing transitrail project teams.
Proven track record with large client account management megaproject pursuits and engineering/planning staff development.
A desire to work with external contractors/consultants AECOMs other divisions/regions and interact directly with major clients.
Qualifications :
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
BA/BS and 12 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and or education including 4 years of leadership.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
BS Civil Engineering
15 years of experience leading engineering projects with megaproject management
Bachelors degree in civil engineering
Civil Engineer with PE license in California.
Ability to scope/estimate complex projects.
Track and manage task budgets and schedule experience.
Demonstrate leadership skills and communication skills requiring client interaction.
Ability to work with various multidisciplined teams is essential to this role.
Provide indepth Quality Control and Quality Assurance for design/project management/program management.
