Lead IT Project Manager Data & BI Projects
Location: New York NY (Hybrid: 3 days in office)
Type: Contract
Job Summary
Seeking a Lead IT Project Manager to oversee Data & BI projects with a strong preference for candidates with Insurance/Reinsurance experience. The role requires onsite presence in NYC three days a week and managing globally distributed teams across the US UK and India.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage project plans timelines and backlogs.
- Lead crossfunctional teams including data analysts and engineers.
- Communicate project updates manage expectations and present status reports.
- Identify and mitigate risks develop contingency plans and ensure quality deliverables.
- Manage project scope schedule and budget with proper documentation.
Qualifications
- Insurance/Reinsurance domain expertise preferred.
- Proficiency in Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Experience with Azure fundamentals JIRA or ADO.
- Strong communication leadership and problemsolving skills.
- Ability to collaborate with globally dispersed teams.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Power BI Tableau or similar BI tools.
- Familiarity with ETL processes and data integration.
- Experience in enterprise IT environments with cloud technologies.
