Job Description
Job Title: SpeechLanguage Pathologist (SLP)
Location: New London NH
Salary: $63752 $98820.80 per year $30.65 $47.51/hour)
Shift: Monday Friday 8:00 AM 4:30 PM (flexible scheduling available)
Job Overview:
We are seeking a SpeechLanguage Pathologist (SLP) to evaluate diagnose and treat patients in acute swing and outpatient care settings. The primary population is geriatric with opportunities to expand to a younger client base. The ideal candidate must have CCCSLP certification and be proficient in swallow therapy modified barium swallow studies aphasia treatment voice therapy and cognitive therapy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and provide treatment for speech language voice cognitive and swallowing disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans and coordinate care with healthcare teams
- Educate patients and families on therapy techniques and home exercises
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Utilize and maintain therapy equipment safely and correctly
- Participate in interdisciplinary collaboration to enhance patient outcomes
