Job Description
Job Title: Clinical Dietitian Hospital
Location: Coos Bay OR
Shift Type: Days 4 x 10Hour Shifts)
Hourly Pay Rate: $29.00 $39.00
Role Overview:
The Clinical Dietitian provides nutrition support education and care to patients and staff in a hospital setting. This position plays a vital role in developing dietary plans ensuring patient wellbeing and collaborating with healthcare teams for optimal nutrition management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical nutrition support and education to patients and staff.
- Assess patient dietary needs and develop individualized nutrition plans.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of dietary interventions.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and meal plans.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient health outcomes.
Skills and Abilities:
- Proficient in using computers calculators PowerPoint and office equipment.
- Ability to read write and communicate effectively in English.
- Strong problemsolving skills and ability to make quick clinical decisions.
- Ability to grasp and handle objects with adequate motor skills and coordination.
Physical/Mental/Environmental Requirements:
- Must be able to stand walk bend squat reach and stretch frequently.
- Ability to assist patients in ambulating transferring and positioning.
- May be required to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must use standard precautions due to exposure risks to blood and bodily fluids.
- Strong communication skills for inperson and telephone interactions.
