As a Senior Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Corporate Technology you are an integral part of an agile team that works to enhance build and deliver trusted marketleading technology products in a secure stable and scalable way. Drive significant business impact through your capabilities and contributions and apply deep technical expertise and problemsolving methodologies to tackle a diverse array of challenges that span multiple technologies and applications.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide software architectural guidance and direction to business and technical teams contractors and vendors ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Design and develop secure highquality production code while reviewing and refining code written by others to meet architectural standards.
- Lead architectural decisions that shape product design application functionality and technical operations ensuring scalability and resilience.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in architectural design and contribute to the engineering community by promoting firm wide frameworks tools and best practices.
- Influence peers and project decisionmakers to adopt innovative architectural solutions and foster a team culture of diversity equity inclusion and respect.
Required Qualifications Capabilities and Skills:
- Formal training or certification in software architecture concepts with 5 years of applied experience in architectural design.
- Handson experience in system architecture application development testing and ensuring operational stability.
- Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages and deep knowledge of architectural patterns and technical processes.
- Ability to independently tackle architectural design challenges with minimal oversight.
- Practical cloudnative architectural experience and a background in Computer Science Computer Engineering Mathematics or a related technical field.
Preferred Qualifications Capabilities and Skills:
- Experience with microservices architecture and containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools including CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code.
- Expertise in designing and implementing distributed systems and cloudbased architectures.
- Knowledge of security best practices and experience in implementing secure design principles.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to articulate complex architectural concepts to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
- Experience in leading crossfunctional teams and driving architectural initiatives across an organization
