Job Description
The Grounds Team maintains the campus lawns landscapes sports fields concrete water features etc. in a manner that reflects the highest levels of professionalism. This includes mowing trimming trash removal trimming trees and shrubs planting flowers fertilizing and general landscape maintenance. Must be very experienced in lawn care and landscape maintenance.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Maintaining the campus grounds in a manner that is professional.
- The completion of work orders as assigned.
- Working to ensure the overall work load of the department is met.
- Providing outstanding customer service to our customers; the students faculty and staff of Benedictine College.
- Communicating clearly both orally and in writing.
- Additional duties to be assigned by the Grounds Supervisor Landscape Coordinator or Director of Operations.

Education / Experience
- 2 years experience in the field of landscaping or grounds maintenance
- This position will be responsible for all lawn and turf areas on campus
- Perform lawn care services including fertilization control aeration seeding etc.
- The ability to work independently and/or part of a team
- Provide a professional and creative service to improve the appearance of our campus
- Professional appearance

- Ability to lift or carry up to 50 pounds 810 hours per day
- Able and willing to work in various weather conditions 810 hours per day
- Snow removal in the Winter
- Landscape bed maintenance shrub trimming and tree trimming.
- Mowing 1 to 2 days per week with a zeroturn mower.
- Ability to work well with others take direction & be selfmotivated.
