Job Description
Position Title: Research Dental Hygienist NOTE : This position is located in Kannapolis NC appx. 2 hours from UNCs main campus. A Research Dental Hygienist position is available immediately in the NRI Clinical Research Core. This position will assist with development and of clinical research including but not limited to: recruitment screening enrolling randomizing and oral and periodontal examinations. The position will provide dental care and treatment and collection processing and organization of biological samples and clinical data. Additional tasks include assisting principal investigators clinicians and trainees in the preparation for and of clinical research subjects; study coordination and ; and collaborating with sponsors funding agencies and other universities as well as faculty staff and trainees at NRI .
Required Qualifications Competencies And Experience
Licensed to practice as a Dental Hygienist in the State of North Carolina. Knowledge and appreciation for dental clinical research. Indepth clinical dental hygiene knowledge including working with healthy and diseased patients. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to work with and exercise tact and diplomacy with a wide variety of individuals. Excellent interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Experience working in teams.
Preferred Qualifications Competencies And Experience
Fulltime clinical experience and working knowledge of dental hygiene treatment for patients.

0.5 FTE /Monday Friday; 8:00AM 12:00PM
