Heres how aManager Technical Trainingfor our Edmonton NAHQoffice contributes to our team:

Responsibilities

  • Advises consults and collaborates with subject matter experts (SMEs) to design and develop advanced curricula.
  • Aligns team vision strategy and outcomes with organizational goals and business needs.
  • Assesses the needs of the course participants and modifies instructional strategies.
  • Leads the development of standards and processes for efficiency and quality.
  • Completes the analysis design development implementation evaluation and maintenance of entrylevel to seniorlevel behavioral courses or programs.
  • Leads team members in the analysis design development implementation and evaluation of entrylevel to intermediate behavioral technical and leadership courses or programs.
  • Evaluates courses or programs for effectiveness and impact.
  • Applies adult learning methodologies to supervise and deliver instructorled courses or programs.
  • Creates project plans for key or largescale projects based on employee strength and development needs and assigns tasks and responsibilities accordingly. Provides regular reports on the status of deliverables evaluations and outcomes of project goals.
  • Anticipates the skills needed for future work and helps to plan professional development opportunities.
  • Collaborates with other departments to ensure alignment with priorities and initiatives.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelors degree in a related discipline preferred.
  • 8 years of progressive experience. 5 years of experience in training and professional development instructional design and course development.
  • 13 years of supervisory experience is preferred.
  • Understanding of adult learning theory and practices. Various instructional design approaches instruction methodologies and learnercentric design and learning solutions and new developments.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing elearning and blended learning course materials and delivering facetoface training.
  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills with the proven ability to negotiate influence and present ideas and content that contributes to Professional
  • Advanced business acumen with an understanding of industry practices and new developments.
  • Seen as a trusted advisor with the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders and decision makers.
  • Ability to assess participant needs during delivery and adapt facilitation as required.
  • Exhibits strong leadership skills with the ability to delegate and coordinate activities effectively and lead and motivate professional development professionals.
  • Knowledge of learning management systems (LMS) and elearning programs.
