Job Description
Family Practice / Internal Medicine Physician (Sports Med) Middletown DE
We are seeking a compassionate Internal Med/Family Practice Physician who is trained in/background in Sports Medicine to join our medical practice in our Middletown DE office. We value our patients and truly want to listen to them and offer comprehensive care so we schedule new patient appointments for 3045 min blocks and follow up appointments in 30 min time frames. Our ideal Physician has tact and skill in patient management excellent communication skills and enjoys working as a part of a comprehensive team to offer our patients the best care possible that they need and deserve! Will consider Physicians from a variety of backgrounds including PM&R/Pain Management Physician Orthopedists Neurologist and/or FP/IM Sports Medicine Physician. The physician will be providing coverage at our offices in Middletown DE part time with the potential to add additional days work if willing to cover our Elkton MD office 15 miles away) and/or offer Telehealth in Maryland (if licensed).

Job Duties:
- Patient care and management initial medical consults and patient follow up
- Recommend tests and conducts diagnostic testing to determine extent of injury and to determine appropriate treatment.
- Order Diagnostic labs/imaging in house computerized neurocognitive testing
- Oversee the patients diagnosis and treatment of occupational or motor vehicle injuries mild to moderate closed head injuries and post traumatic headaches
- Prepare patients for return to work after illness or injury
- Documentation timely and accurate
- Order/refer to in house therapies
- Collaboration with colleagues and staff for comprehensive patient care
- Uphold the companys mission to provide exceptional patient care and leads in a way that aligns with the companys goals
- MD/DO from an accredited educational institution
- BCBE Neurologist Physical Medicine and Rehab (PM&R) Pain Management Orthopedists and/or Family Practice Internal Med Sports Medicine Physician.
- Unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of DE and potentially Maryland
- Favorable malpractice history
- Basic Life Support/Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification
- DEA license
- Part time
- No Call or Weekends!
- $175$200 per hour (depending on specialty/training)
