Job Description
A caring Catholic School in Southall is seeking a dedicated English Teacher to join our Humanities department. We are looking for an educator who can inspire a love of language and literature within a faithbased environment.
About Our Learning Community:
Our school values literary exploration and encourages students to develop their communication skills.
About the Role:
- Deliver engaging and challenging English lessons across Key Stages 35 including GCSE and ALevel.
- Develop and implement lesson plans focusing on language analysis creative writing and literary studies.
- Facilitate studentled discussions debates and presentations.
- Assess student progress through written assignments presentations and examinations.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of the English curriculum.
- Organize and lead extracurricular activities such as writing clubs and drama productions.
Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a strong background in English.
- Extensive experience teaching English at the secondary level.
- Excellent communication interpersonal and analytical skills.
- A passion for fostering a love of language and literature.
