The Role

As an Audit and General PracticePartner at Gravitas Bristol office you will play a pivotal role in shaping and driving the firms strategic vision in the region. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the delivery of comprehensive audit and accounts services. You will work closely with the executive team to develop strong client relationships mentor a highperforming team and implement operational efficiencies in line with Gravitas commitment to quality and innovation.


Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership & Growth:

  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives to expand Gravitas market share in the Bristol region.
  • Lead inspire and manage a diverse team fostering a culture of excellence continuous improvement and innovation.

    Client Relationship Management:

    • Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with key clients positioning yourself as a trusted advisor in both audit and accounts services.
    • Oversee the delivery of comprehensive audit and accounts assignments ensuring highquality service and adherence to regulatory standards.

    Operational Excellence:

    • Take full ownership of audit engagements from planning through to completion ensuring rigorous review and compliance with financial reporting standards.
    • Optimise workflows and enhance service delivery processes to improve team performance and client outcomes.


    Client Relationship Management:

    • Identify and secure new business opportunities contributing to the firms growth and longterm success.
    • Represent Gravita at industry events and local networking functions to bolster the firms reputation and visibility in the region.


    Team Development & Mentorship:

    • Mentor and develop team members providing guidance and support to nurture future leaders within the firm.
    • Drive recruitment and retention strategies to build a resilient dynamic and highcalibre team.

    Qualifications Knowledge & Experience:

    • ACA or ACCA qualification with significant postqualification experience in practice.
    • A track record in a senior audit role ideally within a partnerlevel position or a similar leadership capacity. Demonstrable experience in managing comprehensive audit and accounts assignments.
    • Exceptional technical expertise in audit and financial reporting with a keen eye for regulatory compliance. Strong commercial insight with the ability to identify market opportunities and drive revenue growth.
    • Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop teams. A collaborative mindset and a proven ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.

      The Nitty Gritty

      • Our standard working week is a 37.5hour week on a hybrid basis (with up to 50 of your time across the month home based and the other 50 office based)
      • Core working hours are 10am 4pm Monday to Friday
