Your Role as a Design and Technology Teacher:
- Deliver engaging and practical DT lessons across KS3KS5 covering Resistant Materials Product Design and Engineering principles.
- Encourage students to develop technical skills problemsolving abilities and creativity in design projects.
- Ensure safe and effective use of tools equipment and machinery in a wellmanaged workshop environment.
- Support students in coursework and practical assessments helping them achieve their full potential.
- Contribute to extracurricular activities such as engineering clubs competitions and school projects.
Who Were Looking For:
- A qualified DT Teacher with QTS and a strong background in design engineering or product design.
- A passion for handson learning and the ability to inspire students with practical applications of DT concepts.
- Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to fostering a safe and inclusive learning environment.
- An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
