Are you a passionate Business Teacher looking for a temporary role in an Outstanding school We are seeking a dedicated Business Teacher to cover maternity leave from April teaching KS4 and KS5 Business Studies. This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly regarded school in Smethwick for a temporary period with the potential to impact students academic success.
Key Information:
- Position: Business Teacher (Maternity Cover)
- Location: Smethwick
- Start Date: April 2025
- Contract Type: Temporary Fulltime
- Teaching Levels: KS4 and KS5 (GCSE & ALevel)
- Salary: MPS/UPS (depending on experience)

The Role:
- Teach Business Studies to KS4 and KS5 including GCSE and ALevel
- Create engaging and relevant lesson plans that inspire students and prepare them for their exams
- Ensure that students achieve excellent academic results and provide tailored support where necessary
- Collaborate with the department team to maintain high standards of teaching and learning
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively to foster a positive and productive learning environment
What Were Looking For:
- A degree in Business Studies or a related field
- QTS or PGCE
- Experience teaching Business Studies at KS4 and KS5 level
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students in learning
- A commitment to achieving the best outcomes for all students
