Art Teacher Highly Regarded Secondary School Taunton April Start

Location: Taunton
Contract: FullTime Permanent
Salary: MPS/UPS

A passionate and innovative Art Teacher is required to join a highly regarded secondary school in Taunton. Your Role as an Art Teacher:

  • Deliver engaging and creative Art lessons across KS3 KS4 and potentially ALevel.
  • Encourage students to develop technical skills creativity and critical thinking.
  • Support students in preparing highquality coursework and portfolios for GCSE and ALevel assessment.
  • Lead extracurricular activities such as Art clubs exhibitions and workshops.
  • Collaborate with the wider school community to promote the value of the arts.
  • Contribute to wholeschool initiatives that integrate Art with other subjects.

Who Were Looking For:

  • A qualified Art Teacher with a strong passion for creative education.
  • Expertise in a range of artistic mediums including drawing painting sculpture digital media or photography.
  • A commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
  • The ability to inspire and challenge students helping them develop confidence in their artistic abilities.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills with a proactive approach to extracurricular involvement.
  • An Enhanced DBS Check (or willingness to obtain one).
