Location: Swindon
Contract: FullTime Permanent
Salary: MPS/UPS
A highly motivated and innovative Design & Technology Teacher is required for a thriving secondary school in Swindon. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about developing students creative and technical skills in Design and Technology. Your Role as Design & Technology Teacher:
- Deliver highquality Design & Technology lessons across KS3 and KS4 and potentially KS5.
- Teach a variety of designbased disciplines including product design electronics engineering and textiles.
- Encourage students to use design thinking and problemsolving techniques to create functional and innovative products.
- Provide practical and creative learning experiences including projectbased assignments and design challenges.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues in the department to ensure a dynamic and forwardthinking curriculum.
Who Were Looking For:
- A qualified Design & Technology Teacher with experience in teaching a wide range of design disciplines.
- A strong understanding of CAD software 3D printing and other modern design tools.
- A creative and enthusiastic approach to teaching with a passion for developing students technical skills.
- Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to support a wide range of learning abilities.
- Enhanced DBS Check (or willingness to obtain one).
