Job Description
VAM Systems is currently looking for Data Management Specialist for our Bahrain operations with the following skillsets and terms & conditions:
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Data Science Computer Science Information Systems Business Analytics Statistics or other relevant field. Relevant certifications (e.g. CDMP or PMP) are a plus.
Experience
3 years of experience in data management data governance analytics or business intelligence with a proven track record in managing data related projects.
Key responsibilities
1. Assist in implementing the data governance policies and frameworks to enhance data integrity security and compliance in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
2. Develop and maintain critical documentation including SOPs transformation logic metadata management and the business data glossary
3. Work closely with Technology to design implement and enhance data warehouses ETL (Extract Transform Load) pipelines and analytics tools
4. Performs regular data quality assessments to identify data anomalies or issues and collaborates with the Technology team to resolve them.
5. Collaborate with Technology to implement data validation cleansing and transformation processes.
6. Implement data validation cleansing and anomaly detection processes in collaboration with Technology.
7. Support data management projects led inhouse or in collaboration with thirdparty consultants or vendors ensuring timely and successful delivery.
8. Oversee projects initiated by Technology in collaboration with Data Management ensuring alignment with business objectives and data strategies.
9. Work with business units to gather data requirements and recommend improvements.
10. Work closely with Technology to refine and optimize data warehouses and integrated tools ensuring data quality governance and seamless integration with business processes.
11. Stay updated on emerging trends in data management and analytics AI and governance frameworks integrating best practices into the organization.
12. Assist in conducting training sessions on data literacy for internal teams.
