Job Description
- Oversee the import procurement process including sourcing supplier negotiations and contract management.
- Ensure timely and costeffective procurement of goods while maintaining quality standards.
- Coordinate with suppliers freight forwarders and customs agents to ensure smooth import operations.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with international trade regulations and local import policies.
- Manage procurement documentation including purchase orders invoices and shipping documents.
- Track and analyze market trends supplier performance and costsaving opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams including logistics finance and inventory management to optimize procurement efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in supply chain management business administration or a related field.
- 35 years of experience in import procurement.
- Fluent in Arabic with a good command of French.
- Strong understanding of international trade regulations customs procedures and import documentation.
- Experience in supplier negotiation and vendor management.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a team.
- Previous experience in Africa is a plus.
- Excellent organizational and problemsolving skills.
- Positive attitude and ability to work under pressure.
