Process Engineer Lean Six Sigma

Similar domain experience (USAA) is mandatory.
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Process Engineer with a strong background in Lean Six Sigma and the Insurance industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving process improvement initiatives enhancing operational efficiency and delivering significant value to our clients. This role requires a blend of analytical skills project management expertise and a deep understanding of insurance products and regulations.
Responsibilities:
Voice of Customer & Problem Definition:
Gather and analyze the Voice of Customer (VOC) and define clear problem statements from relevant stakeholders.
Develop a highlevel project scope based on identified problems.
Secure stakeholder buyin for project scope and timelines.
Project Management & Planning:
Create detailed project plans including milestones and timelines.
Manage project ensuring adherence to deadlines and budgets.
Prepare pilot implementation plans and readiness enablers.
Implement Pilot program and manage the post pilot control and sustain plan.
Share the project closure summary to all stakeholders.
Process Analysis & Improvement:
Perform comprehensive data collation and analysis.
Analyze AsIs processes and identify areas for improvement.
Conduct brainstorming sessions with project teams to develop ToBe process states.
Develop Value Stream Maps (VSM) and conduct waste analysis.
Provide clear recommendations and solution roadmaps.
Secure stakeholder buyin for proposed recommendations and roadmaps.
Insurance Industry Expertise:
Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of insurance products and regulations.
Identify opportunities to improve products processes and service delivery across all channels.
Utilize previous consulting and industry experience to help insurance organizations achieve their longterm goals.
Client Engagement & Communication:
Work directly with clients to address their issues and act as the primary relationship contact.
Write and present detailed reports documenting work performed and results achieved.
Effectively communicate project updates and findings to stakeholders.
Process Documentation:
Process documentation knowledge on Industry approved Tools.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Engineering Business Administration or a related field.
Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification is highly preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in process engineering process improvement or consulting preferably within the insurance industry.
Proven experience in project management including developing and executing project plans.
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to analyze complex data and processes.
Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
Deep understanding of insurance products regulations and industry best practices.
Proficiency in process mapping and analysis tools such as Value Stream Mapping (VSM) process flow diagrams and statistical analysis software.
Experience in conducting waste analysis and implementing process optimization strategies.
Knowledge of process documentation tools.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience with Voice of Customer (VOC) analysis.
Full Time
