Job Purpose:
The Payroll Officer is responsible for processing and maintaining accurate records of the companys payroll.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Prepare and process payroll for all employees in the company.
Review and verify the accuracy of attendance overtime calculations and other payrollrelated data
Maintain accurate records of employee payroll information including deductions taxes and benefits
Ensure compliance with all state and federal payroll laws and regulations
Respond to employee inquiries related to payroll including paycheque deductions and tax withholding
Reconcile payroll accounts and prepare necessary reports for accounting and finance teams
Process employee Full and Final Benefits and prepare the necessary documentation
Collaborate with other members of the HR team to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Maintain confidentiality of all employee payroll information and records
Printing Company IDs for new employees and renewals.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
A minimum of a bachelor s degree in accounting finance or a related field
A Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll processing preferably in a manufacturing industry
Key Requirements:
Indepth knowledge of payroll laws and regulations
Experience with payroll software and accounting software
Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze and interpret data
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
