RQ08684 - Automation Developer - Senior

Responsibilities:

• The Automation Developer will be dedicated to developing both manual and automated routine tests as well as designing coordinating and tracking the testing effort. This role requires strong deductive reasoning attention to detail grit patience and creativity. The QA Automation Solution Consultant will collaborate with developers testers and product managers to analyze develop maintain and execute quality assurance testing procedures.
  

Key Responsibilities:

• Test Script and Case Creation: Develop new test scripts and test cases and execute them against various components.
  
• Collaboration: Work with the testing lead IT lead and project team members in the analysis design development implementation and ongoing support of required systems.
  
• Automation Team Coordination: Collaborate closely with the automation team to understand complex and missioncritical applications.
  
• Automated Test Development: Develop automated test frameworks and suites at the UI API and integration levels using Selenium or Java.
  
• Design Participation: Participate in design discussions to help evolve the platform enabling richer testing scenarios that simplify defect detection and prevention.
  
• Issue Resolution: Assist with triage diagnosis and resolution of issues discovered across teams.
  
• Acceptance Testing: Contribute to endtoend acceptance tests.
  
• Manual to Automated Conversion: Drive the conversion of manual tests to automated ones whenever possible.
  
• Automation Coverage: Introduce more automation coverage to support more frequent release cycles.
  
• Support and Mentorship: Provide ongoing support and mentorship to ensure staff can effectively automate processes.
  
• Knowledge Transfer: Conduct knowledge transfer sessions to train junior staff on automation processes.
