Key Responsibilities
As a Personal Tax SemiSenior you will play a crucial role in supporting the firm s personal tax clients while developing your expertise. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing personal tax returns for a diverse portfolio of clients including individuals sole traders and highnetworth individuals.
- Assisting with the review of junior staff s work providing guidance and mentorship where necessary.
- Managing your own portfolio of clients ensuring deadlines are met and highquality service is delivered.
- Liaising with clients and HMRC to resolve queries and ensure compliance.
- Supporting tax planning initiatives and identifying opportunities for tax savings.
- Keeping up to date with changes in tax legislation and sharing knowledge with the team.
Requirements
Personal Tax SemiSenior Ashford
To be successful in this role you should possess the following qualifications skills and attributes:
- Experience working within a personal tax role in an accountancy practice
- Ideally studying towards or holding ATT qualifications (Study support can be provided)
- Strong technical knowledge of personal tax compliance
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues
- Strong organisational and timemanagement skills with a proven ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- A proactive approach to problemsolving and a keen eye for detail

The Personal Tax Manager will be: ACCA, ATT, or CTA qualification. Significant experience in a tax role within a practice environment. Confidence in a client-facing role. Strong technical knowledge of personal tax regulations and compliance. The ability to mentor and guide junior staff members. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
