We are looking for a passionate and strategic Senior Proposal Advisor to join our Buildings team and play a key role in expanding our presence across Canada. We are seeking someone who is curious collaborative and driven with a talent for technical writing marketing and strategic thinking. Your ability to craft compelling proposals and bring a strategic approach to business development will directly contribute to the growth of our Buildings sector from coast to coast.

Reporting to an Executive Director you will work closely to ensure the quality and impact of all documentation playing a key role in securing exciting new opportunities for CIMA. Youll be based in one of our offices in Ontario or Western Canada with the flexibility of a hybrid work model that allows you to balance remote and inoffice collaboration.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Write and develop proposal content by collaborating with various specialists through interviews working sessions and research.
  • Understand and analyze the legal governance and organizational aspects of public and private sector requests for proposals (RFPs).
  • Coordinate the preparation of proposals with the support of an administrative assistant and ensure their overall integrity.
  • Develop and maintain a library of project information resource profiles and strategies to produce compelling accurate and wellstructured proposals.
  • Ensure all submitted documents comply with RFP requirements and align with the firms quality standards.
  • Identify partnerships with contractors architects and other consultants to strengthen our proposal strategies and expand business opportunities.
  • Work with our CRM system keeping it up to date to maintain and enhance our business intelligence ensuring strategic insights for future opportunities.
  • Contribute to the development and optimization of technological tools used in proposal creation.

Qualifications :

  • College or university degree in a writingrelated field (professional communications public communications journalism translation etc. or other relevant training.
  • Between five 5 and ten 10 years of relevant experience in proposal writing marketing or business development.
  • Experience working with CRM systems with the ability to maintain and leverage them for business intelligence and opportunity tracking.
  • Excellent knowledge of Office 365 tools (especially Word and Teams); knowledge of Visio and SharePoint is an asset.
  • Strong attention to detail organizational skills and business acumen to ensure highquality strategic proposals.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Comfortable working in a fastpaced everevolving environment demonstrating adaptability and resilience.
