THE INTERN SOFTWARE ENGINEER AT DEBMARINE NAMIBIA:
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Technical Development:
- Learn and apply programming skills in various languages and frameworks.
- Assist in designing coding testing and debugging applications.
- Develop reliable efficient and tested programmes that meet specifications and standards.
- System Documentation:
- Document modify and maintain existing systems and newly developed applications.
- Create and update technical documentation for systems ensuring accuracy and clarity.
- Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Work with relevant stakeholders to understand technical requirements and address technical issues.
- Ensure effective integration with existing technology applications.
- Build and manage relationships with customers and internal service departments to develop effective solutions.
- Problem Resolution and Support:
- Provide technical support and assistance to users and help desk functions to resolve customer problems.
- Monitor existing systems identify weaknesses and make recommendations for improved performance and user service.
- Assist in resolving program and system problems.
- Project Participation:
- Participate in project assignments under the guidance of experienced mentors.
- Contribute to various aspects of application development including design coding testing and deployment.
- Rotate through different teams or departments to gain exposure to various areas of application development.
- Adherence to Standards:
- Follow design coding and documentation standards.
- Conduct regular debriefs to ensure requirements are accurately interpreted and conveyed.
- Ensure housekeeping tasks for systems are performed.
- Professional Development:
- Attend training sessions workshops and technical courses to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in software development.
- Seek feedback from mentors and supervisors to improve performance and address challenges.

Qualifications :
THE CANDIDATE MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Applicants should hold a bachelors degree with a subject major in Computer Science Information Systems or Software Engineering.
