Job Description

We are looking for you to strengthen the Field Service Team for our Electron Microscopy Service organization in the EMEA CentralSouth Region.
You will have your place of living in Switzerland ideally between Bern and Lausanne.
This role suits someone who enjoys working in a highpaced environment. Your proactive approach team spirit and eagerness to continuously develop your skills are what will ultimately drive our success. What will you do
Performing field service activities including onsite installation upgrades preventive maintenance and system repairs
Solving a broad range of hardware and/or software problems of varying scope and complexity
Instructing customers in the use of our instruments to ensure safe and effective customer operations
Providing proactive and responsive technical telephone and email support ensuring that our customers can successful use their instrument
Assuring the highest level of Customer Experience to achieve customer satisfaction and loyalty
Coordinating your own work schedule with direct colleagues service operations and management.
Producing timely and accurate reports of your activities: e.g. service reports and expense reports
Work together with Colleagues from 2nd Level Support Application and Sales
Providing feedback to support teams for correcting system documentation and updating procedures.



What will you need
A masters degree in mechanical electrical or electronic engineering or any other equivalent education or experience in a hightech environment.
Analytical trouble shooting and problem solving abilities
Skills to carry out precision mechanical work
Knowledge of vacuum systems is preferred
IT skills including TCP/IP networking
Driving license required

Team player mentality
Excellent communication skills in English verbal and in writing.
A strong team contributor with excellent interpersonal skills
Commercial interest and interest to increase business.
A natural interest in staying up to date with trends in technology and IT
Knowledge of Electron Microscopes is a strong advantage
