About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Security Officer to join our team in a busy gatehouse environment. This role requires a strong focus on customer service while ensuring the safety and security of the premises. You will be responsible for access and egress control regular patrolling and maintaining a high standard of professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct hourly patrols (rotating between standing and walking)
Manage access and egress control efficiently
Sign in visitors and maintain accurate records
Deliver excellent customer service in a fastpaced environment
Maintain a professional and presentable appearance while on duty
Requirements
Valid SIA Licence
Minimum 1 year of security experience
Strong customer service skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Physically fit to carry out regular patrols and rotations

Job Opportunity
- Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to detect and deter unauthorised activities
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of daily activities incidents and observations including completing necessary paperwork in a timely manner
- Enforce access control policies by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points
- Conduct thorough searches of individuals and vehicles entering the premises following established protocols and procedures
- Respond to emergencies and security incidents taking appropriate action to mitigate risks and ensure the safety of individuals and property

Qualifications :
Essential Skills
- SIA Licence:1 year Experience minimum
- Access to vehicle/good transport links 15 miles.
- RTW in the UK & 5year checkable history
- Good customer service and written/verbal communication skills
- Computer literate
- Flexible to workdays nights and weekends
