We are looking for a Transport Planner to join a specialist transport planning consultancy that has built a strong reputation through repeat business and referrals. This role offers exposure to a diverse range of projects and the opportunity to work with both public and private sector clients across industries such as residential commercial industrial education and renewable energy.

The Role: Transport Planning & Consultancy
This role will involve working on a variety of transport and highwaysrelated projects. You will support senior staff in preparing reports conducting traffic analyses and liaising with clients and other professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Writing Transport Statements (TS) and Traffic Impact Assessments (TA) supporting senior staff in preparing more complex reports.
- Preparing Travel Plans including conducting travel surveys and analysis.
- Leading and supporting senior staff in the preparation of traffic models.
- Organising and analysing traffic survey data.
- Carrying out site visits and traffic survey work.
- Producing accurate drawings to support technical reports.
- Liaising with colleagues clients and coprofessionals.
- Attending client and professional meetings.
- Carrying out administrative tasks such as compiling technical reports and setting up new projects.
Desirable Skills:
- Visibility assessments and swept path analysis.
- Preliminary access design.
- Experience with AutoCAD and GIS.
- Reviewing internal layouts for serviceability and functionality.
- Preparing quotations for new work.
What Were Looking For:
- Degreequalified in a relevant discipline.
- 25 years of experience in a consultancy or relevant transport planning role (higher experience levels will also be considered).
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
