We are recruiting for a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist to join a leading inpatient mental health service delivering exceptional care to adults with complex mental health and neuropsychiatric needs on a fixed term basis.

The Role: In this position you will:
- Conduct psychological assessments and develop therapeutic interventions for individuals families and groups.
- Manage a caseload of patients while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide integrated care.
- Participate in research and quality improvement initiatives to advance best practices.
- Ensure compliance with clinical governance standards and maintain uptodate records.
- Support patients in achieving recovery goals through evidencebased approaches.

About You:
- Hold a recognised/validated Level 8 qualification in Clinical or Counselling Psychology.
- A recognised postgraduate professional qualification in Clinical or Counselling Psychology or an equivalent qualification validated by the Department of Health.
- Have at least one year of postgraduate experience in adult mental health or related settings.
- Possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Desirable:
- Postqualification experience working within adult mental health/psychiatry of later life.
- Experience working within a mental health rehabilitation setting/framework.
- Training in cognitivebehavioural therapy.
- Training/expertise in at least one other therapeutic modality (e.g. family therapy dialectical behaviour therapy schema therapy emotionfocused therapy compassionfocused therapy psychodynamic psychotherapy).
