The Opportunity:

Our Client is seeking a licensed Electrical Engineer (minimum 2 years of related experience preferred) to work in our Sacramento or Berkeley office as a member of our electrical instrumentation and controls design team. This position can be remote hybrid or in person but the candidate must be able to travel to project sites or critical meetings in California on an asneeded basis. The Electrical Engineer will prepare electrical and control systems designs (plans specifications calculations and estimates) for municipal water and wastewater facilities. This is a fulltime position.

Candidate should possess the following:

  • Electrical P.E. license in California preferred B.S. and/or M.S. in electrical design/engineering (or related field) degree at an accredited university
  • Minimum of 3 years of related electrical instrumentation and/or controls engineering work experience preferred.
  • Ability to prepare designs in the latest version of AutoCAD
  • Excellent organizational verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently
  • Demonstrated understanding of electrical instrumentation and controls design approaches for water wastewater and recycled water utilities
