Job Title: Senior Cost Controller
Job Summary:
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Cost Controller to oversee cost analysis budgeting and financial reporting for pharmaceutical manufacturing and supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for optimizing costs ensuring compliance with industry regulations and providing financial insights to drive profitability.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain cost control strategies for manufacturing and distribution.
- Monitor and analyze production costs material usage and operational expenses.
- Track cost variances and implement corrective actions to align actual costs with budgets.
- Work closely with procurement finance and supply chain teams to optimize spending.
- Prepare and present cost analysis reports forecasts and profitability assessments.
- Ensure compliance with GMP FDA and other pharmaceutical industry regulations.
- Support pricing strategies by analyzing cost structures and profit margins.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements in production and distribution.
- Oversee inventory valuation cost allocations and waste management reporting.
- Assist in financial audits and ensure compliance with internal financial controls.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field (CMA or CPA preferred).
- 35 years of experience in cost control with a strong background in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Indepth knowledge of cost accounting principles budgeting and variance analysis.
- Experience with pharmaceutical manufacturing cost structures and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with crossfunctional teams and senior management.
- Fluency in English (very good to excellent).
