About the Music Teacher Role:
We are seeking an exceptional Music Teacher to join our dedicated team. The successful Music Teacher will have the opportunity to teach Music across Key Stages 3 and 4 inspiring students of all abilities and nurturing their musical potential.
What youll do as a Music Teacher:
- Deliver engaging and innovative Music lessons that cater to a range of learning styles and musical interests.
- Create a dynamic and supportive learning environment where students feel confident to express themselves musically.
- Teach a variety of musical instruments and vocal techniques.
- Lead and direct school choirs and instrumental ensembles.
- Organised and participate in school concerts and musical productions.
- Assess and monitor student progress in Music providing constructive feedback and support.
- Contribute to the development of the Music curriculum and departmental resources.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and ensure the highest standards of Music teaching.
What youll need to be a successful Music Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A degree in Music or a related field.
- Experience teaching Music at the secondary level.
- A strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum for Music.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for Music and a commitment to inspiring students.
