Job Description
Are you a passionate and dynamic Computer Science Teacher looking to make a real difference at a thriving secondary school in Coventry We are partnering with an outstanding school to appoint a talented Computer Science Teacher to join their expanding department. This is an exciting opportunity to teach Computer Science up to KS5 (ALevel) and take on additional leadership responsibilities with the potential for a TLR (Teaching and Learning Responsibility) role for the right candidate.

About the Computer Science Department:

Responsibilities:
- Teach Computer Science to KS3/4 and KS5 (ALevel).
- Develop engaging effective lessons that foster a love of technology and computing.
- Regularly assess and monitor student progress to ensure high achievement.
- Contribute to curriculum development and implementation.
- Opportunity for additional responsibilities including leadership and TLR for the right candidate.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Degree in Computer Science or a related subject.
- PGCE or QTS.
- Proven experience teaching Computer Science at KS3 and KS4 with experience teaching at KS5 (ALevel) desirable.
- ECTs are encouraged to apply.
- Leadership experience is desirable for TLR opportunities.
Salary and Benefits:
- Competitive salary on the MPS/UPS scale (depending on experience) with the potential for a TLR for the right candidate.
