Job Description
Job Description: Journeyman Millwright
Location: Flint MI
Salary: $35.00 per hour
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine maintenance and repair of industrial machinery and equipment.
- Install assemble and maintain mechanical systems for various applications.
- Diagnose mechanical issues with equipment and resolve problems efficiently.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate measurements and adjustments.
- Work collaboratively with other maintenance staff and departments to complete tasks.
- Follow safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment.
- Keep detailed records of maintenance work performed and any parts used.
- Perform adjustments and calibrations on complex machinery.
- Participate in training sessions and maintain uptodate knowledge on industry standards.
Essential Qualifications:
- Possession of relevant certifications or licensure as a millwright.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problemsolving skills.
- Ability to work with various tools and equipment safely and effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Physical stamina and capability to lift heavy materials and work in various conditions.
Desired Experience:
- Previous work experience as a millwright or in a related field.
- Experience with hydraulic electrical and pneumatic systems is preferred.
- Familiarity with industrial safety standards and practices.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents including blueprints and schematics.
Salary & Benefits:
