Functional Description:

  • Applies analytic techniques in the evaluation of program/project objectives. Analyzes requirements status budget and schedules.
  • Performs management technical or business case analyses. Collects completes organizes and interprets data relating to aircraft/weapon/project acquisition and product programs.
  • Tracks program/project status and schedules.
  • Applies government-instituted processes for documentation change control management and data management.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Analyze logistics support requirements of Engineering Change Proposals (ECP).
  • Process ECP documentation and recommend support concepts.
  • Perform management technical or business case analyses.
  • Collect completes organizes and interprets data relating to aircraft/weapon/project acquisition and product programs.
  • Create manage and analyze acquisition documents such as: quotes purchase requests SOWs (Statement of Work) and other supporting documents.
  • Oversee monthly funding reports and responsible for verifying contract spend by searching and compiling information.
  • Meet with contracting and government civilian counterparts reports issues and successes.
  • Track program/project status and schedules.
  • Apply government-institute processes for documentation change control management and data management.
  • Participate in status briefs and recommends responses to program inquiries.
  • Initiate Ship Change Documents (SCDs) and Procurement Initiation Document (PID).
  • Document items for monthly status reports and financial reviews.
  • Support the operation of the Integrated Product Team (IPT) including scheduling and organizing meetings making data calls and assessing the data updating schedules and supporting the development of procurement packages.

Required Experience:


Over 5 years of combined experience performing duties described in the functional description with at least 3 of those years in support of NAVAIR Programs.


Education Requirements:


BA/BS degree from an accredited college or supplemental experience is required.
