Job Description
Journeyman Electrician
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform electrical installations repairs and maintenance on various electrical systems and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with occupational safety and health regulations along with electrical codes.
- Conduct thorough electrical troubleshooting to identify and resolve operational issues quickly and efficiently.
- Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to safety principles and practices.
- Collaborate with other trades and team members to deliver quality service and support to various projects.
- Keep detailed records of work performed materials used and any incidents or issues that arise during projects.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in the electrical field including technologies codes and safety standards.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skill sets and knowledge related to electrical work.
Essential Qualifications:
- Must have valid Journeyman's License
- Proven knowledge and experience in electrical installations and maintenance.
- Strong understanding of electrical codes and safety principles.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to think critically in highpressure situations.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with team members and clients.
Desired Experience:
- Relevant experience in electronics manufacturing or similar environments.
- Handson experience in electrical troubleshooting and maintenance of electrical systems.
- Previous experience working in compliance with safety and health regulations.
- Experience working independently while adhering to deadlines and quality standards.
