Look you probably already know that there are not many bigger problems out there than the climate but did you know that more than 40 of global emissions or really any ESG issue are directly or indirectly impacted by procurement Thats because companies have an incredible amount of power (purchasing power) when selecting and managing suppliers so if we can put sustainability on every supplier scorecard out there we really can change the world.
But its hard! A company will have anywhere fromsuppliers and analyzing each of their sustainability efforts is an impossible task and most ESG ratings suck.
Thats what were trying to change. Responsiblys aipowered due diligence engine automates the due diligence on every supplier across every single esg data point on your suppliers (from risk and violations to positive actions) and turns that into insights to ultimately help companies build more sustainable supply chains.

Make complex insights beautifully simple
Were growing our engineering team to craft a bestinclass UI/UX experience for the nextgeneration sustainability due diligence platform and are looking for that perfect (impossible) blend of a designer and frontend engineer.
At Responsibly youll work on a designforward Next.js 15 app that prioritizes speed usability and aesthetics. Youll play a key role in shaping interactive accessible and visually appealing user interfaces leveraging modern tools like React Tailwind CSS and component libraries like MUI or ShadCN. Your work will directly impact how users interact with and understand sustainability data making complex insights beautifully simple.
And we dont just leverage AI for our productwere also building a nextgeneration engineering team where AIassisted workflows (V0dev Copilot Replit Ghostwriter) help us prototype iterate and ship faster than ever.
Tasks
What youll be doing
- Designing and developing highquality UI components and interfaces for our Next.js application.
- Collaborating closely with product and engineering teams to turn conceptual ideas into beautiful intuitive and functional designs.
- Rapidly prototyping and iterating on UI/UX flows using tools like Figma and AIassisted development platforms.
- Working with Material UI ShadCN Tailwind CSS or similar UI libraries to build scalable design systems.
- Optimizing the frontend for performance SEO and page speed ensuring users get a lightningfast experience.
- Taking operational responsibility for the interfaces you build from development to postlaunch refinements.
- Staying ahead of the curve with modern UI/UX trends and experimenting with AIassisted tools for efficiency.
Requirements
About you
- You are a strong UI designer who codes with a keen eye for aesthetics and usability.
- You have proficiency in frontend development including React HTML CSS JavaScript.
- Youve worked with component libraries and UI frameworks like Material UI ShadCN Tailwind CSS or similar.
- You are comfortable with AIassisted development and rapid prototyping using tools like V0 dev Copilot or Replit Ghostwriter.
- You have experience in responsive and accessible design and understand best practices for crossbrowser compatibility and WCAG compliance.
- You are passionate about building fluid highperformance user interfaces with a focus on SEO page speed and great workflows.
- Where you lack experience you make up for it with passion talent and dedication; if youre straight out of school you can still convince us if you can demonstrate this!
