The ARM Group LLC is hiring a FullTime Associate Controls Engineer for one of our leading clients located in Barnwell SC.
#Relocation Assistance Provided
#Annual Salary $110000.00/ Annually
#This position requires working day shifts Monday to Friday with occasional callins based on rebuild schedules.
Job Overview:
- We are seeking a fulltime Associate Controls Engineer to support manufacturing operations.
- This role involves troubleshooting and resolving machine/process issues to enhance efficiency and prevent breakdowns.
- You will manage PLCs HMIs VFDs DCS and lead production enhancement projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues with manufacturing equipment (e.g. Siemens Allen Bradley PLCs servo drives).
- Work with the electrical team for preventive maintenance and manage backups for process controls.
- Design and implement control systems to optimize machine productivity and product quality.
- Provide afterhours support for complex issues when needed.
- Analyze and resolve process and equipment issues per OEM specifications.
- Ensure adherence to safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 5 years in manufacturing maintenance 3 years with SEW drives Allen Bradley Control Logix 5000 PLCs.
Education:
- BSEE from an accredited university.
Skills:
- Proficient in PLCs HMI electrical systems and controls.
Other:
- Strong decisionmaking and ability to work independently in a fastpaced environment.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to perform tasks in challenging conditions (hot environments heavy lifting climbing etc..
- Must be able to work in a manufacturing setting with noise and exposure to environmental elements.
