Job Description
We're a highgrowth company seeking a talented Senior Data Platform Engineer to design and build the future of our realtime data infrastructure. This critical role requires a deep understanding of data streaming technologies and a passion for building scalable resilient systems. You will be a key player in ensuring the performance and stability of our core platform.
Responsibilities:
- Architect and implement a robust scalable data streaming platform to support our growing product suite.
- Maintain and optimize our existing streaming infrastructure.
- Develop and maintain the application infrastructure supporting our realtime data pipelines.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other engineers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex datarelated issues.
- Evaluate and adopt new technologies to enhance our data platform.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience as a Data Engineer or Big Data Infrastructure Engineer.
- Deep understanding of and handson experience with data streaming technologies (Apache Kafka Apache Pulsar Spark Streaming KStream Apache Flink).
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Proven ability to build and maintain highscale productionready systems.
Preferred Skills:
- Cloud Native stack (Kubernetes Prometheus Istio).
- Cloud provider experience (AWS Google Cloud etc..
- Experience with infrastructure tools (Helm Ansible Terraform).
- Experience with Scala.
