Job Description
Director of Surgical Services (FullTime)
Location: Pasadena TX 77504
Salary: 113963− 142459 per year (based on experience)
Bonus: 15 Annual Director Bonus (based on performance)
SignOn Bonus: Case by case
Relocation Assistance: Case by case
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Surgical Services to lead our perioperative team with a focus on safety operational excellence and highquality patient care. This role is responsible for the 24/7 oversight of surgical services ensuring compliance with regulatory standards managing daytoday operations and driving strategic growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:

Identify and implement solutions to improve service delivery and address potential challenges.

Lead mentor and coach the perioperative team providing constructive feedback and fostering professional development.

Ensure compliance with regulatory standards hospital policies and quality improvement programs.
-
Oversee patient satisfaction initiatives and maintain operational excellence.
-
Manage the department’s fiscal responsibilities including budgeting equipment requests and resource allocation.

Participate in strategic planning and growth initiatives such as the integration of new technologies and the expansion of surgical programs.
Qualifications:
-
3 years of recent acute care surgical services leadership experience (focused in the OR).
-
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required; Master’s degree preferred (Nursing Business Administration Healthcare Administration or related field).

Active RN license in the state of Texas or a compact state.
-
CNOR or CSSM certification preferred.
Additional Information:
-
10 ORs with 2 robots handling 4060 cases per day (inclusive of Endo).
-
Surgical specialties include CV General Surgery Orthopedics and Women’s Services.
-
Level III Trauma Center.
-
Growth initiatives include adding an ortho robot and expanding the CV program.
